What made you decide to become a gastroenterologist and hepatologist?
Because of the technical aspects of this speciality.
Who was the teacher you admired the most?
My boss - Prof Henri Sarles. I also had the chance to practice digestive endoscopy at its beginning. My master for endoscopic cholangio-pancreatography was Itaru Oi.
What is your unfulfilled ambition?
I don’t have any unfulfilled ambitions just yet. However, the organization of work in a public hospital is becoming more and more difficult.
How do you relax?
In my house in the countryside.
What car do you drive?
A Saab.
What is your best electronic 'toy'?
I don't have any electronic "toys".
Why did you get in involved in GastroHep.com?
I got involved because I was asked to, and thought it interesting to join a dynamic staff.
